Spool-80 will allow you to use your TRS-80 for other things while Spool-80 is printing your disk files. Spool-80 can print from two types of disk files, ASCII (Text) Files or Compressed Basic Files. The standard operating mode of Spool-80 will print at up to 40 characters per second (if the printer is fast enough). Spool-80 also has a fast mode which can print at rates up to 80 characters per second. You may use your TRS-80 for any other operation you wish while Spool-80 is operating. You will only be briefly interrupted periodically when the Spool requires additional access to the disk drives.
