INSURANCE FORMS. Generates standard medical insurance forms accepted by Medicare, Medicaid, and all third party private insurance carriers. STATEMENTS. Patient's statements may be printed at any time. The Operator may choose balance due, zero balance, or credit balance statements. DAILY JOURNALS. Daily Journal includes day's activities, listing by patient of the day's charges, payments, adjustments, and updated ledger balances. DISPLAY AND EDITING. Any patient ledger can be quickly called to the video display or printer. Editing of clerical information can be done while the ledger is on display. Editing of dollar values is not allowed, thus maintaining the integrity of the double entry system. CHARGE LOCATIONS. Provides for the optional designation of up to five different locations at which the charge services were provided. AGING REPORTS. All accounts are automatically aged into five 30 day categories. The report lists patient's name, telephone number, total charges to date, total payments to date, date of last payment, current balance, and signifies whether or not insurance forms have been printed for that patient. DELINQUENT LETTERS. The programs provide for the printing of delinquent letters. There are four different letters, one for each aging category. Operator is able to exclude any chosen patient(s) from batch printing. REMarkable Software Presents: MEDICAL OFFICE SOFTWARE The biggest problem now encountered in a physician's office is the mountain of paperwork required by the government and insurance companies. Everyone recognizes the problem, but very few have done anything about it, primarily due to the fact that programmers know nothing about medical office practices and those people who do know enough don't have the time to program. Our medical package was developed as a group effort involving doctors, insurance clerks, medical office accountants, and the programmer. By involving the talents and knowledge of all people, we have developed what we believe to be the best microcomputer medical software on the market. The offices currently using our package agree. It is being used by several offices ranging from single doctor practices to multi-doctor emergency clinics. This package hasn't been offered until now because we don't believe in the current trend of announcing a new product even before it has been developed. Instead, we waited until all the 'bugs' had been worked out, the documentation was written, and the software has proven itself under the actual conditions it was written for. The full package consists of three modules. They are: Appointment book, Accounts Receivable, and Insurance Forms. We will soon finish the documentation for the fourth module, which will allow automated input to several major insurance companies.
