Help categorize the TRS-80 software archive
Nearly 30,000 programs, and almost none of them say what kind of program they are. Mark whatever you recognize. Pick as many words as fit — a game that teaches arithmetic is Game, Math, Education — then send the page. Everything is reviewed by hand before it goes anywhere near the archive, so a best guess is worth more than a blank.
Important Note: Do not do multiple entries of the same program. If you flag Super Nova by Big Five once, all Super Nova by Big Five entries will get updated. No need to waste your time flagging each Super Nova

Career Scan IV ProgramMISSING
2 TRS-80 Diskettes, 48K...$169.00<br>A comprehensive career search and exploration package accessing over 700 occupational titles. This program is based on the latest and most usable guidance classification system available: the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC). The SOC provides a useful structure to group the 12,000 primary titles in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles. Totally self-instructional. Students do not need assistance when using them even if they have never used a computer before. The search process is fast and easy. Each search takes an average of only 15 minutes. Students simply answer questions asked by the computer. When the search is completed, the computer provides information on each occupation which matches the student's profile. Once the student has completed a search, he/she may redo the search with the option to change answers. When the student wants to stop and instructs the computer to quit, the computer will provide summary information. Selected information can be sent to a printer if one is available. Displays information on the screen if there is no printer. For one or two drive systems. Manuals and teacher's guides.

CASH REGISTER Have you looked at the price of a cash register lately? It's hard to believe that a register with only 8 product keys goes for over $1300.00 and all it does is keep totals. Our cash register has 26 user programmable product keys, automatically computes tax on taxable items, totals sales for each product type, Z tape report, checking deposit report, over/short report, sales by time period, message board (sales or employee), and much more. The cash register program output can be interfaced to our Assistant Store Manager software and produce the following reports: Financial Statement (compatible with tax forms), Return on Investment, Sales Forecast & Breakdown, Cash Flow Prediction, Accounts Payable Ledger, Accounts Receivable Ledger, Expense Ledger, Employee Compensation Ledger and this can be interfaced to our Retailer's Inventory software. All of this for less than the cost of a cash register, including hardware. The system requires a Color Computer with 8K or 16K Basic, 16K RAM, our cash drawer and any printer. We can supply all or any part of the hardware. We also have versions for TRS-80 Models I or III.

Casino RouletteMISSING
CASINO. ROULETTE - TO FRENCH RULES Everybody know what roulette is, almost everybody knows how to play it, almost nobody ever wins any money at it. There are not many simulations of the game available for microcomputers that we know of, and it is really a natural for the machine. The appeal of this version is the strictness with which it compiles to the actual game. The odds paid on one number coming up are 35-1. In fact as there are 37 numbers (0-36) the odds against you winning are 36-1. It is, therefore, an audacious gambler who puts his money on a single number. This is where multiple bets come in. At an actual table one places ones's chips on the intersection of the lines if for instance one is covering two numbers. There are a great number of variations of betting on a selection of numbers that one can use and this simulation covers ten of them. We are not sure whether this is all that is available in actual life or not but the point is that multiple betting is supported. The graphics are fair. As we all know it is extremely difficult to display anything approaching a circle on the Tandy or Genie machines. Each player is given 500 chips to begin with. You may define these as your imagination wills. When all bets have been placed (up to four players may take part) the wheel will spin and after the usual deathly hush a number will be displayed. The players' kitties will be adjusted and so one proceeds to another turn of the wheel. As in everyday roulette, the numbers have colours and again, as in real life, one can bet on the colours. This is always said to be the sucker bet because one only gets even odds. We have always felt that this is one of the best bets but that is probably why we have lost money at roulette. You, however, will not, if you play this computer simulation. Memory Requirement 16K TRS 80 Tape Model 1 & 3
