Baseball-Stat Baseball-Stat is a package of 10 programs designed to keep statistics for a baseball or softball team or league. It can support up to 50 teams, each with up to 45 hitters and 20 pitchers. For hitters, 11 statistical categories (such as games, at bats, hits, runs, and stolen bases) are pre-defined, as are 13 categories for pitchers (such as wins, losses, innings, walks, and strikeouts). Users can define three categories for batters and one for pitchers. Other programs print or display standings, team totals, and league leaders. Provisions are made for players traded during a season. basic' Programming Environment basic' is a powerful, completely structured extension of the Basic language. Blocks of code are indicated by a unique indentation convention, eliminating the need for extraneous statements (such as Begin and End) and statement numbers.
